Daniel joined UStrive after 14 years of higher education experience in test preparation and admissions. He earned his B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and his M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Iowa. Daniel then worked in medical admissions at Carver College of Medicine, helping develop recruitment strategies to attract more rural, low-income, and underrepresented students to the medical school. He later brought those skills to undergraduate admissions at Washington University in St. Louis, where he served as Associate Director and oversaw the first-year selection process. Daniel has interacted with thousands of students, and he has helped institutions center access and equity in their work. Daniel was born in San Antonio and is an avid Spurs fan!
