Calvin Burton
Calvin graduated from Jackson State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Masters in Public Administration. He is an experienced development professional in the nonprofit sector, with a passion for market and prospect research and strategic planning. An accomplished nonprofit strategist, Calvin has worked with organizations of various sizes and missions to create actionable plans prioritizing purpose and outcomes, including securing government funds to launch the Fayetteville/Cumberland County Reentry Council in support of ending poverty and helping secure $3 million for an affordable housing development project in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, for first-time homebuyers. Outside of work, Calvin enjoys trying new foods, karaoke, traveling with his partner, and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
